"Iveragh is the first piece in a new style of work for me. It is an abstract impression of the Irish countryside. The multitude of blues and greens and grays that change in value and intensity as the sunlight filters through the clouds and onto the Irish landscape."
Like a stone mason carving marble, I sculpt with the memories of our most cherished moments. I bring them to life in glass, representing the ephemeral nature of our experiences. Sometimes they are real, like the smell of popcorn or the limitless potential in a new box of crayons. Some moments are less tangible; the rising mist off a waterfall or the explosion of color in a field of flowers.
