Greetings, friends... it’s been quite some time since PATRAJDAS sent out a Newsletter, and therefore have TONS to talk about.  To make it easier to absorb,  we’ll send a couple emails out over the next couple weeks.  We highly recommend “liking” us on Facebook … it’s much easier to update you on fairs (we’ve already done 4 this year), new works & artists, and news.  We don’t currently have a Twitter account... if you’d prefer we use that, let us know here

But for now, the first and most important bit of info is that we’ve moved.  A sudden confluence of events and opportunities have led us to relocate to Utah.  For those of you on the East Coast, it means you will see us a bit less frequently, likely just at NYC and Miami fairs.  For those of you in the Midwest and West, you’ll see much more of us!  Our emails and phone number haven’t changed, though... so you can reach us as you always have.

For those of you who did not see us at SCOPE-NY, we showcased a couple new artists: Simone Kestleman, Judy Csotsis, and Jaime Treadwell.  At Art Santa Fe, we debuted our latest discovery, Brad Greenwell.  We’ll also be adding a few new artists in upcoming months - keep an eye peeled on our FB page for updates!

A number of our artists have museum shows -either current or upcoming:

Jordan Eagles Blood Work  - a solo show at the Mütter Museum in Philadelphia, opening late September. The included works are available for purchase via Patrajdas.  Running concurrently with the Mütter exhibition, Jordan has another solo, Red Giant, at the Everson Museum in Syracuse NY.

Kate MacDowell will be featured Body & Soul, New International Ceramics at the Museum of Art and Design, also opening in late September.  We should have a couple new works available by then, as well.

Tm Gratkowski is one of 7 American artists currently showing in the dual-location Juarez/El Paso Biennial, and will also have work in Documenta at the Museum of New Art, ALSO opening late September.

Simone Kestelman has already exhibited with the International WCA (Womens’ Caucus for Art), and has additional exhibitions pending for 2013 and 2014.  Other upcoming exhibitions include the Museu Brasileiro da Escultura (opening October 19), and in China, via the United Nations, in April 2014.

Other exhibitions of note: Jong Seok Yoon had a major exhibition in Korea back in May, and Koh Sang Woo has been exhibited so far this year in Singapore, Rotterdam, New York, and Basel, with solo museum shows in Seoul and Beijing.

Look for us this fall and winter in San Diego and Los Angeles. Meanwhile, please let us know if you have interest in specific works or artists.  If you’re coming out to Utah to ski this winter, make sure to drop us a note and come on by!

Until next time...
